Pastor Marisa is the Administrator of both Compassion Christian Center and Agapeland Christian Academy in Bakersfield, California.

Born and educated in Bakersfield, California, Marisa received her Associate of Science Degree from Bakersfield Jr. College; a Bachelor of Science Degree from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma; and completed coursework for the Teaching Credential in Multiple Subjects from National University, in Fresno, California.

Marisa served as the Executive Producer for a local Inspirational Broadcast “Faith, Love & Action” (2005-2009) and the Minister of Outreach over Central and Northern California for Angelfood Ministries (2008–2011). Marisa, currently serves as the COO of the Ted M. Johnson Empowerment Square, Community Development Corporation.

As an entrepreneur, Marisa enjoys providing HEALTHY living opportunities through her NUSSENTIALS business.

She is the eldest of three girls, born to Ted and Martha Johnson. She is married to Pastor Roland B. Banks and the mother of four children, Reigna, Roland II, Riordan andRadisson.
