Pastor Roland B. Banks is delivering a faith message of hope and inspiration. With a straight forward approach, sense of humor and down to earth style, Pastor Roland can inspire both young and old alike. He considers himself “old school” with a twist.  Combining years of formal education, training, personal experience and the countless experiences of role models and mentors, Pastor Roland has the uncanny ability to teach “how to.”

Born and raised in New Jersey, Pastor Roland, a son of a Police Chief and a Federal Government employee is called by God to minister to generations. The youngest of 6 children, Pastor Roland graduated from Rutgers University with a B.S. in Economics after lettering in both Track and Football. Following a brief but impactful experience working on Wall St. Pastor Roland moved to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to attend Rhema Bible Training Center.

While attending Rhema Bible Training Center Pastor Roland met Marisa Johnson, a student at Oral Roberts University. After the two graduated, they moved to Bakersfield, CA Marisa’s hometown, where they were married in 1994. Roland and Marisa currently reside in Bakersfield with their four children: Reigna, Roland II (RJ), Riordan and Radisson.

Over the past 25 years, Pastor Roland has dedicated his life to serving children and adults alike, both as a Credentialed Elementary school teacher and as a Children’s, Youth, and Assistant Pastor of Compassion Christian Center. While serving children, Pastor Roland developed his unique, real life and relevant teaching style. In 2012, with a Shepherd’s heart and a passion for the world, Pastor Roland launched Roland Banks Ministries International aka RBMINT. Reaching and Building generations worldwide, Pastor Roland has traveled to several countries showing the compassion of Jesus Christ.
